Following the anniversary exhibition „20 years artists association/ community studio Tusculum“ in autemn 2018 Uta Schnuppe Strack and Gerd Lepic will start the project MOVING ART COLONY IN EUROPE visiting clowns, artists and Artists’ Colonies in Europe. Art colonies or Artists' colonies have been and are already present in many European countries. They emerge everywhere where creatives gather to live and work together.

CREATE COOPERATION AND COMMON ART PROJECTS
In accordance with the maxims of euroArt, the European Federation oft Artists‘ Colonies (www.euroart.eu), we want to work towards a greater cultural understanding and cooperation in a European context. We go in search of stories of memory, the present and stories to be painted and written. We want to build bridges between traditions oft the past, the artists and their works of the present and the tendencies of the future. To achieve these goals, we would like to meet and work with living artists in Europe today creating common temporary art projects.
MOVING ART COLONY IN EUROPE is representing and living the European idea (more information: www.europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/eu-in-brief_de). In the new guidelines for the Creative Europe program (2021-2027) the EU highlights that one of its primary focusses is on European cultural networks and that they will increase EU support to the promotion, marketing and branding of international working associations (see also: www.ec.europa.eu/programmes/creative-europe/).
Im Anschluss an die Jubiläums-Ausstellung „20 Jahre Künstlervereinigung Murnau e.V.“ im Herbst 2018 werden Uta Schnuppe Strack und Gerd Lepic zu ihrem Projekt MOVING ART COLONY IN EUROPE (eine in Europa umherziehende Künstlerkolonie) aufbrechen. Künstlerkolonien gab und gibt es bereits in vielen Ländern Europas – sie entstehen überall dort neu, wo sich Kreative zusammenschließen, um gemeinsam zu leben und miteinander arbeiten. MOVING ART COLONY IN EUROPE setzt sich zum Ziel, Clowns und bildende Künstler zu besuchen, um mit ihnen zu arbeiten.
ZUSAMMENARBEITEN UND GEMEINSAME KUNSTPROJEKTE SCHAFFEN
Gemäß der Maximen der euroArt, der Europäischen Föderation der Künstlerkolonien (www.euroart.eu), möchten wir für ein größeres kulturelles Verständnis und eine stärkere Kooperation im europäischen Kontext eintreten. Wir begeben uns auf die Suche nach Geschichten der Erinnerung, der Gegenwart und nach Geschichten, die noch gestaltet werden. Wir wollen Brücken schlagen zwischen Traditionen der Vergangenheit, den Künstlern und ihren Werken der Gegenwart und den Tendenzen die in die Zukunft weisen. Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, möchten wir Kunstschaffende treffen, die heute in Europa leben. Wir möchten mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten und gemeinsame Kunstprojekte schaffen. MOVING ART COLONY IN EUROPE repräsentiert die Europäische Idee und lebt sie (vgl.: www.europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/eu-in-brief_de). In den neuen Leitlinien für das Programm "Kreatives Europa" (2021-2027) hebt die EU hervor, dass einer ihrer Hauptschwerpunkte auf europäischen Kulturnetzwerken liegt und dass sie die Förderung, Vermarktung und Markenbildung internationaler Arbeitsverbände verstärkt unterstützen wird (vgl.: www.ec.europa.eu/programmes/creative-europe/).
